Dit project wil deze uitdagingen begrijpen en aanpakken door de impact op de locatiekeuzes en reispatronen van burgers te bestuderen. Met behulp van real-life experimenten en geavanceerde modellen voor stedelijk transport onderzoekt het ge\u00efntegreerde Mobility as a Service (MaaS)-oplossingen en op de markt gebaseerde persoonlijke koolstofhandel om effici\u00ebnte, eerlijke en emissievrije stedelijke verkeerssystemen te ontwikkelen. Hij is ook gasthoogleraar aan de University of Maryland. Zijn onderzoek richt zich op interacties tussen mens en milieu en hij heeft functies bekleed bij instituten zoals de University of Leeds en de Chinese Academy of Sciences. Klaus heeft meer dan 200 publicaties op zijn naam staan \u200b\u200ben heeft belangrijke klimaatprojecten geleid die werden gefinancierd door Horizon 2020 en NASA. Voordat Yuli bij UoB kwam, werkte ze als onderzoeker aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Yuli is een bijdragende auteur van het IPCC 6th Assessment Report en lid van het uitvoerend comit\u00e9 van de National Association of Input-Output and Big Data of China. Yuli is Associate Editor of Editorial Board Member van verschillende tijdschriften, waaronder Scientific Data, Advances in Applied Energy en nog veel meer.
